The stories

All the stories on The Word on Your Street website are true testimonials from real people with real experience. The stories have all been reviewed and edited for the site. Some stories feature people's real names and photographs, and in other cases we have been given permission to present their experience but have used fictitious names and actors for the photographs.

Submitting your story

If you feel that the site has been really useful to you, we'd like you to send us your First Time Buying experience. By submitting your story to The Word on Your Street website you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of The Word on Your Street website.

The Word on Your Street may contact you about your story

When you submit your story we will review it and contact you via your submitted email address to inform you of the next steps. We'll need to ask for a few more details about you and your experience.

Your data

Your name and email address will be used to contact you and will be retained in our The Word on Your Street database for the length of time your story is featured on this site. If your story is featured on The Word on Your Street website then other personal information that you gave in the Add Your Story submission form will be used as your profile. This will be validated when you are contacted again about using your story on The Word on Your Street website.
