Chloe's Story
We wanted to own our own home because it's an investment - the biggest one you ever make, and we wanted to pay a set amount each month, which is why I went for a Fixed Rate mortgage.
We plan to stay and raise a family in our place now.
Chloe's thoughts
Everything eventually went according to plan for us, so it was really quite an easy process.
I didn't enjoy dealing with the application forms when we sorted out a mortgage. It seemed to take forever, and we spent a long time on the phone trying to get it sorted.
