Ed's Story
We bought for long-term security, really. We're going to be here for a little while. And we chose the fixed rate mortgage because we wanted the certainty of knowing what we'd be paying each month.
Ed's thoughts
We didn't receive much in the way of useful advice, although the mortgage did go through OK. We had a mortgage broker and I think this wasn't particularly necessary, so I wouldn't go through a mortgage broker if I had to do it again.
